We carry Professional Indemnity Insurance appropriate to the scale and type of work we undertake. We will endeavour to interpret your ideas with imagination, creating spaces for life.... EMPLOYING OTHER PROFESSIONALS Sometimes, no matter how simple a project first appears, there is often a need for input from other construction related professionals, eg a structural engineer or Q.S. As architects, we will be able to explain the need for these services, and will assist you in obtaining quotations for services, where required, & appointing suitable candidates for your project. OBTAINING STATUTORY APPROVALS Once intial design solutions have been discussed & agreed, we can advise you on all the issues relating to Planning Approval, Building Control Approval and your obligations with respect to current health and safety legislation. Part of the our service involves acting as your agent in all applications made to the statutory bodies SELECTING BUILDERS After drawings and specifications have been completed and the relevant statutory approvals have been received, we can advise you on how to choose appropriate builders to tender for the work. There are appropriate forms of building contract available for types of building of building projects and we can assist you in selecting these, & with administration of the building contract throughout the works. |
